Itinerary Overview
This 13-day journey across Southeast Asia begins in Luang Prabang with visits to historic temples, the Royal Palace Museum, and a cruise on the Mekong River to Pak Ou Caves. The itinerary continues to Vietnam with a city tour of Hanoi and an overnight cruise through the limestone islands of Ha Long Bay. Travelers then fly to Ho Chi Minh City to explore the Cu Chi Tunnels and the city’s colonial landmarks before visiting the Mekong Delta. Detailed Itinerary
DAY 1: Arrival in Luang Prabang & Ancient City Highlights (B)
Upon arrival at Luang Prabang International Airport, you will be met by your guide and transferred to the hotel for check-in. After a short rest, the tour begins with an introduction to this historic city.
The first visit is the Royal Palace Museum, which houses a collection of artifacts reflecting the history and culture of Laos. You will then continue to Wat Mai, a beautiful temple known for its intricate golden bas-relief decorations and traditional Lao architecture.
If time allows, take a short walk through the charming streets of the city center, observing daily life and the relaxed atmosphere of Luang Prabang.
In the late afternoon, climb Mount Phousi, where a sacred gilded stupa stands at the summit. From here you can enjoy panoramic views over the city and the Mekong River, especially beautiful at sunset.
The day concludes with a visit to the lively Luang Prabang Night Market, famous for handmade textiles and local crafts produced by nearby villages and hill-tribe communities.

DAY 2: Mekong River Cruise & Pak Ou Caves (B)
After breakfast, begin the day with a relaxing cruise along the Mekong River, offering beautiful views of the peaceful countryside surrounding Luang Prabang. The journey upstream allows you to experience traditional river life and scenic landscapes along the riverbanks.
The cruise leads to the famous Pak Ou Caves, a historic cave monastery located in limestone cliffs overlooking the Mekong River. The caves date back to the 16th century and contain thousands of Buddha statues placed there by pilgrims over many generations.
On the way, stop at Ban Muang Keo village, known for its traditional production of Lao rice whisky, where you can observe local craftsmanship and daily village life.
After returning to Luang Prabang, visit Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong, one of the most beautiful temples in Laos, known for its sweeping multi-tiered roof and decorative mosaic artwork.
If time permits, continue to nearby craft villages including Ban Xangkhong, famous for textile weaving, and Ban Xienglek, where traditional Saa paper is produced.

DAY 3: Kuang Si Waterfalls & Flight to Hanoi (B)
Early in the morning, you will have the opportunity to witness one of the most sacred traditions in Laos — the daily alms giving ceremony, where hundreds of Buddhist monks walk through the streets collecting offerings from local residents. This centuries-old ritual dates back to the 14th century and remains an important part of Lao culture.
After the ceremony, depart for the beautiful Kuang Si Waterfalls, the largest waterfall in the Luang Prabang area. The waterfalls cascade down several tiers into turquoise pools surrounded by lush forest, creating one of the most picturesque natural landscapes in Laos. Visitors often enjoy relaxing near the pools or taking photos of the dramatic scenery.
Nearby, you may also visit the Bear Rescue Center, which provides sanctuary for rescued bears that were saved from illegal wildlife trade and poaching.
Later in the day, transfer to Luang Prabang Airport for your flight to Hanoi, Vietnam. Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, you will be met by your guide and transferred to the hotel in the city center.

DAY 4: Hanoi City Tour (B,L)
After breakfast, your guide will meet you at the hotel to begin a full-day exploration of Hanoi, the historic capital of Vietnam.
The tour begins at the Ho Chi Minh Complex, where you will see the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh’s traditional House-on-Stilts, and the famous One Pillar Pagoda. You will also view the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum from the outside.
Next, visit the Temple of Literature, built in 1070 and known as Vietnam’s first university. The temple complex reflects the country’s long tradition of education and Confucian values.
After lunch at a local restaurant, continue the tour with a visit to Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple, located on a small island connected by the iconic red The Huc Bridge.
You will then enjoy a cyclo ride through Hanoi’s Old Quarter, a lively district known for its narrow streets, traditional shops, and local street life.
The day concludes with a traditional water puppet show at Thang Long Theatre, a unique Vietnamese performance art that dates back centuries.

DAY 5: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay Cruise (B, L, D)
After breakfast, depart from Hanoi for the scenic drive to Ha Long Bay, a journey of approximately three hours. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is famous for its dramatic seascape, where thousands of limestone islands rise from emerald waters.
Upon arrival at the harbor, you will board your cruise and begin sailing through the bay. A welcome lunch will be served on board as the boat passes spectacular limestone formations and small islands scattered across the sea.
In the afternoon, you can participate in activities offered by the cruise, such as kayaking, swimming, sightseeing, or visiting one of the bay’s impressive caves, depending on the cruise itinerary.
Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the bay in the evening while the boat anchors among the limestone islands.

DAY 6: Ha Long Bay – Flight to Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)
Wake up early to enjoy the peaceful morning atmosphere of Ha Long Bay. You may relax on deck while taking in the spectacular views of limestone islands rising from the emerald waters.
After breakfast on board, the cruise continues deeper into the bay before returning toward the harbor. A brunch will be served on board as the boat sails back to port.
Upon arrival at the harbor, your driver will transfer you to Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City, formerly known as Saigon.
After landing at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, you will be met by your driver and transferred to your hotel in the city center.

DAY 7: Cu Chi Tunnels & Ho Chi Minh City Highlights (B, L)
After breakfast, your guide and driver will meet you at the hotel to begin a full-day exploration of Ho Chi Minh City, formerly known as Saigon.
The first stop is the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an extensive underground network stretching more than 200 kilometers. This tunnel system served as a strategic base during the Vietnam War and included living areas, hospitals, storage rooms, and communication routes used by Vietnamese fighters.
After lunch at a local restaurant, continue the tour in the city center with a visit to the historic Independence Palace (Reunification Palace), the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until the end of the war in 1975.
You will then see several iconic French colonial landmarks, including Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office, two of the most recognizable architectural sites in the city.
The tour continues with a visit to the War Remnants Museum, where exhibits provide historical insight into the Vietnam War and its impact on the country.
Return to the hotel in the evening.

DAY 8: Mekong Delta Exploration (B, L)
After breakfast, around 08:00 your guide will meet you at the hotel and depart for the Mekong Delta, one of the most fertile and culturally vibrant regions of Vietnam. The area is famous for its extensive network of rivers, canals, and floating communities.
Upon arrival, board a boat for a relaxing cruise along one of the branches of the Mekong River. During the journey, you will visit several local workshops, including a brick factory, a coconut processing workshop, and a traditional mat-weaving house, where you can observe local craftsmanship and production methods.
The boat will then stop at a quiet village where you can take a short walk to experience everyday life in the delta and enjoy a bicycle ride through lush coconut plantations.
Lunch will be served at a local restaurant before returning to Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon.

DAY 9: Flight to Siem Reap & Cultural Evening (B, D)
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City for a short flight to Siem Reap, Cambodia, the gateway to the famous temples of Angkor.
Upon arrival, your guide and driver will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in, enjoy some free time to relax and settle in.
Later in the afternoon, take a tuk-tuk ride around Siem Reap, offering a glimpse into the lively atmosphere of the city and its local neighborhoods.
You will also participate in a traditional Buddhist blessing ceremony, where monks offer prayers for happiness, prosperity, and safe travels.
In the evening, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant accompanied by a traditional Apsara dance performance, one of Cambodia’s most famous cultural shows.

DAY 10: Angkor Temples Exploration (B, D)
Early in the morning, depart for Angkor Archaeological Park to witness the spectacular sunrise over Angkor Wat, one of the most iconic temple complexes in the world.
After sunrise, return to the hotel for breakfast before continuing the exploration of the ancient temples. Begin with Angkor Wat, the magnificent 12th-century temple complex built by King Suryavarman II and considered the largest religious monument in the world.
The tour continues to Angkor Thom, the former capital of the Khmer Empire. Enter through the impressive South Gate and visit the remarkable Bayon Temple, famous for its giant stone faces. You will also explore the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King, and Preah Khan Temple.
In the afternoon, visit the atmospheric Ta Prohm Temple, where massive tree roots grow over ancient stone structures, creating one of the most photogenic sites in Angkor.
End the day with a sunset view from Preah Rup Temple, offering panoramic views across the Angkor landscape.

DAY 11: Tonle Sap Lake & Flight to Bangkok (B)
After breakfast, begin the day with a visit to Tonle Sap Lake, the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia. Here you will take a boat trip to a floating village, where homes, schools, and shops are built on the water, offering a unique insight into the traditional lifestyle of local communities.
The excursion provides an opportunity to observe daily life along the lake and experience the natural beauty of the surrounding countryside.
After the boat trip, continue with a visit to the Artisans Angkor workshop, where local artisans preserve traditional Cambodian crafts such as wood carving, stone sculpture, and silk weaving.
Later, transfer to the airport for your flight to Bangkok, Thailand.

DAY 12: Bangkok City Tour (B)
After breakfast, begin a full-day exploration of Bangkok, the vibrant capital of Thailand.
The tour starts with a visit to the Grand Royal Palace, one of the most important landmarks in Thailand and a historic residence of the royal family. Within the same complex you will visit Wat Phra Kaew, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, one of the most sacred temples in the country.
Next, continue to Wat Pho, famous for its enormous Reclining Buddha statue and recognized as one of the oldest and largest temple complexes in Bangkok.
The tour also includes a visit to Wat Traimit, known as the Temple of the Golden Buddha, home to the world’s largest solid gold Buddha statue.
In the afternoon, take a long-tail boat cruise along the Chao Phraya River and the city’s canals, offering a unique perspective of local life along the waterways. During the cruise, you will stop at Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn, one of Bangkok’s most iconic landmarks.
Return to the hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure.
