Day 1: San Jose. Costa Rica.

Welcome to the vibrant city of San José, Costa Rica! After a warm reception, you’ll be transferred to your hotel, where your adventure begins. Dive into the lively atmosphere of the capital, where you can wander through charming theaters and fascinating museums, explore bustling shopping centers, or simply savor a rich cup of local coffee while soaking in the lively rhythm of daily life among the "ticos." Enjoy every moment in this captivating city!

Day 2: San Jose - Tortuguero

Start your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel before embarking on an unforgettable journey across the stunning Braulio Carrillo National Park.

 

As you make your way to the charming Caribbean town of Guápiles, enjoy a delicious breakfast to fuel your adventure.

 

Glide along the rivers and canals for about 90 minutes, soaking in the breathtaking jungle scenery and keeping an eye out for the incredible wildlife that calls this area home. After a tasty lunch, we’ll explore the vibrant village of Tortuguero. Your day will conclude with a delightful dinner at the hotel, surrounded by the sounds of nature.

Day 3: Tortuguero

Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the hotel to kickstart your day. In the morning, set out on a guided walk along the hotel’s private trails, immersing yourself in the lush surroundings.

 

After a delightful lunch, embark on a scenic boat tour through the enchanting canals of Tortuguero National Park. This remarkable park is renowned for being home to five species of sea turtles and a rich diversity of birds, amphibians, and other wildlife.

Conclude your day with a delicious dinner at the hotel, surrounded by the sounds of the rainforest.

Day 4: Tortuguero - Arenal Volcano

Breakfast at the hotel. You will return by boat back through the Tortuguero canals until you reach the pier, where your ground transportation will meet you. Awaiting you today in the Northern Plains is the impressive Arenal Volcano, a natural wonder with an iconic cone-shaped crater. Along the way there, you will see plantations of various agricultural crops, ornamental plants, and cattle ranches until we reach the town of La Fortuna. The town is worth visiting to walk and to have lunch or dinner. Your hotel is strategically located to appreciate the volcano.
