Day 1: PANAMA CITY. Arrival to Panama

Arrive at Tocumen International Airport and meet with the company staff. Then you will be transfered to your hotel in Panama City for check-in and overnight stay.

Day 2: Explore Panama City

Start your day with a delicious breakfast before setting off on a fascinating tour of Panama City. Discover the best of this vibrant capital, beginning with a scenic drive along the Amador Causeway, offering breathtaking views of the city skyline and the iconic Panama Canal. Capture the moment as ships pass beneath the Bridge of the Americas, a stunning gateway connecting continents.

Next, experience the engineering marvel of the Miraflores Locks. Watch in awe as vessels navigate through the locks, and learn about the canal's impressive operation.

The journey continues with a visit to Casco Antiguo, the city's charming historic district. Wander through its colonial streets, admire beautifully restored buildings, and take in the rich history and culture of this UNESCO World Heritage site.

Day 3: Emberá Indigenous Community

After breakfast at the hotel, set out on a memorable journey to Chagres National Park, just over an hour from Panama City. Upon arrival, board a traditional "piragua" — a wooden canoe carved from a single tree trunk. As we glide along the Gatun River, part of the Canal Watershed, enjoy the picturesque views of the lush forest and its diverse wildlife.

Our destination is the Emberá Querá village, meaning "Emberá Perfume," where the welcoming Emberá people will greet us with music and dance. Immerse yourself in their culture, explore their village, and hear from the Shaman about the powerful medicinal properties of local plants.

​

For lunch, savor freshly caught fish, served with fried green plantains and tropical fruits. The Emberá are also skilled artisans, offering beautiful, handcrafted souvenirs made from seeds, natural fibers, dyes, and fine wood — perfect for a memorable keepsake.

After this enriching cultural experience, we’ll return by boat to the mainland, followed by a drive back to Panama City. Enjoy a leisurely afternoon at your own pace.

Day 4: Welcome to the Panamanian Caribbean

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Colón Island in the beautiful Bocas del Toro archipelago, located on the Caribbean Sea near the Costa Rican border. This tranquil paradise is made up of over 60 islands, islets, and mangrove cays, offering stunning coastal views and a laid-back atmosphere.

The archipelago has a rich history, first visited by Christopher Columbus during his final voyage to the Americas in 1502. Over the centuries, it has been part of various territories, including the Governorate of Veragua, the Republic of New Granada, and later the Department of Panama. Since 1903, it has proudly belonged to the Republic of Panama, with parts of the region designated to the indigenous Ngäbe-Buglé community in 1997.

Upon arrival at your Colón Island hotel, enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Wander the charming town with its distinctive Caribbean ambiance, colorful wooden buildings, and inviting seaside terraces. Day 5: Discover Bahía Los Delfines, Cayo Coral, and Cayo Zapatilla

Get ready for an unforgettable day exploring the natural beauty of Bocas del Toro. After breakfast, we’ll set off from Colón Island to Dolphin Bay (Bahía Los Delfines), where you can observe these incredible creatures in their natural habitat. Watching dolphins play in the calm Caribbean waters is a truly magical experience.

Next, we’ll head to Cayo Coral, home to a vibrant coral reef garden. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to go snorkeling (equipment not included) and explore the colorful marine life that thrives in this underwater paradise. After working up an appetite, we’ll enjoy a delicious Caribbean lunch at a charming seaside restaurant offering breathtaking views of the archipelago.

Day 6: Natural Contact – Discover Pájaro Island, Boca del Drago, and Estrella Beach

Start your day with breakfast before setting off on a scenic adventure to explore the natural wonders of Bocas del Toro.

Our first stop is Isla Pájaro, a breathtaking bird sanctuary. Here, you'll have the chance to observe a variety of bird species, including frigate birds, pelicans, charatas, gannets, and swallows. Take in the beauty of the island as we cruise around its shores, immersing yourself in nature.

​

Next, we’ll visit Boca del Drago, a spot with a fascinating history and stunning coastal views. Our guides will share stories about the area's past while you enjoy the tranquil surroundings.

Then it’s time to experience the serene beauty of Estrella Beach (Playa de las Estrellas). Known for its crystal-clear waters and abundance of sea stars, this peaceful beach offers the perfect setting for relaxation and swimming.

After enjoying the beach, we’ll indulge in a traditional Caribbean lunch at a seaside restaurant, savoring delicious flavors while overlooking the turquoise waters of the Panamanian Caribbean.

Day 7: Visit to the Manatees

Enjoy an early breakfast before embarking on a day full of adventure. After checking out at 7:45 AM, we’ll head to the "Taxi Boat" dock for a 45-minute boat ride to Almirante. Upon arrival, our transportation will take us on a 45-minute drive to San San Pond Sak, a protected area known for its vital coastal ecosystems. This sanctuary is home to endangered manatees, sea turtles, and a variety of coastal seabirds.

​

Upon arrival, we’ll receive a short welcome briefing covering safety guidelines and what to expect during the tour. Then, we’ll board a boat for a peaceful 40-minute ride to the manatee observation platform, where our guide will share insights about the wetlands and their unique inhabitants. Once we reach the platform, we’ll quietly observe the gentle manatees in their natural habitat, learning about their behavior, feeding patterns, and conservation efforts through informative illustrations and expert commentary.

During the experience, we’ll enjoy a coffee break and spend approximately 45 minutes at the platform before returning to San San Pond Sak.

​

After this unforgettable wildlife encounter, we’ll continue our journey with a 3.5-hour drive to our next destination — the charming mountain town of Boquete.

Day 8: Sunrise at Baru Volcano – 4x4 Jeep Adventure

Get ready for an unforgettable experience as you embark on a 4x4 Jeep adventure to the summit of Baru Volcano. Located in the heart of Baru Volcano National Park, this natural wonder is known for its breathtaking views and diverse ecosystem.

​

The adventure begins with an early departure at 3:30 AM. We'll ascend approximately 22 kilometers to reach the summit at 3,474 meters above sea level, with the journey taking around 5 hours. Due to its unique location between two oceans, Baru Volcano offers a rare opportunity to witness both the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea on a clear day — a once-in-a-lifetime sight.

​

Upon reaching the summit around 6:00 AM, you’ll step out into the crisp mountain air, where temperatures can drop below freezing between December and March, with occasional frost and even granular snow. The stunning view of the rising sun illuminating the landscape will be a sight to remember.

​

From the highest point accessible by vehicle at 3,400 meters, the adventure continues with a short 300-meter hike to the geodesic point. After about 30 minutes of walking alongside your professional guide, you'll reach this incredible vantage point to take in the magnificent sunrise.

​

At 6:30 AM, we’ll begin our descent, making our way back to Boquete. You'll arrive around 9:30 AM, leaving the rest of the day free to relax at your hotel or explore optional activities.
